Expanding the Working Group for the Protection of Artesian Fountains in Zaječar – Initiative Launched for Improved Air and Surface Water Monitoring (VIDEO)

Improving the monitoring of air and surface water quality is one of the goals of the project “Environmental Response to Mining Expansion in Timočka Krajina,” implemented by the Association “Za Drinking Fountains” in collaboration with partners from Bor and Zaječar, and funded by the European Union. Therefore, the working group overseeing the implementation of the Agreement for the Protection of Artesian Fountains in Zaječar recently expanded its activities to include the protection of air and surface water. The working group, composed of members from the “Za Drinking Fountains” association, the City Administration, and the Public Utility Company “Vodovod”, has been extended by two members from civic organizations in Bor with experience in air monitoring.
