Trial Against Zijin Company for Environmental Pollution Postponed at the Basic Court in Bor (VIDEO)

In the Basic Court in Bor, today, the trial against the defendants – Zijin Cooper Bor company and the responsible individual, based on the indictment of the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Bor, has been postponed. Judge Milanka Stojanović postponed the main hearing to February 21, 2023, because the court received a letter from the company stating that the representative of the accused is on an official trip today. The public was interested in today’s trial, and environmental associations in Bor and Zaječar are following this proceeding within the project “Environmental Response in Timočka Krajina,” funded by the EU.
